CONTRIBUTING

• All of your contribution goes to the County Party, not the state. 

• You are not joining the Democratic Party.

• You can contribute any amount. Make your life easy by setting up an auto monthly contribution! Click "Other Amount" on this link, then later in the process, click "Make Monthly." It's a great way to help Democratic efforts while barely noticing the amount given each month!

What does the County Party do with my money?

​

• Pay for various operational and outreach expenses

• Pay for marketing efforts (Facebook ads, radio ads, signs, and other printed material) for candidates and the party

• Recruit & support progressive candidates for local and state office

• Register & turn out voters

• Get more people engaged in the democratic process through various efforts   

• Promote progressive values throughout Green County 

• Donate to local candidates' campaigns

JOINING

Your dues are split between the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, 2nd Congressional District, and Democratic Party of Green County.

You are a member of the Democratic Party, but this has no effect on how you vote in primary elections nor is it public knowledge.

What does the State Party do with my money?

​

• Pay staff that provides support to county parties. This staff is indispensable to us, helping us with:

  • Legal questions​ so that we don't violate any laws

  • Recruiting candidates

  • Guiding our efforts to help Democrats win

  • Messaging

• Provide resources to Democrats running for office​

  • Money and staff

• Opposition Research​

• Coordinate election efforts with Assembly and State Senate Dems

What does the County Party do with my money?

Residents of Green County who join the Democratic Party of Wisconsin are automatically members of the Democratic Party of Green County. There are no additional dues for the County Party. 

​

Minimum annual membership dues are (feel free to contribute more) : 

​

• $25/yr - General membership price per person.

• $35/yr - Pair or Family membership price for two or more people who identify as family living under the same roof.

• $10/yr - Student, Veteran, or Low-Income membership price is per student or individual with limited income.

​
